A rare moment

It's quiet here.
And, I'm the only one in the house.
A rare moment, indeed.

The construction workers have gone to get something.
Alice is with her Nana.
(Thank Goodness! The air is smoky with drywall dust.)
Nana rules.

What's left on my to-do list involves either
cleaning, which is 100% pointless right now,
or running errands, and I need to be here to let the dudes back in the house.

I thought I'd show you what our house looks like right now.

I've had 3 meltdowns thus far,
mostly due to having WAY too much on my plate right now.
However, there's a possibility that this will all be completed by tomorrow night.
Please, Jesus!

I could think of at least a 100 things to complain about,
but I'm trying really hard to choose joy.
I am thankful for a home.
Thankful for insurance.
Thankful for Nana and Grandpa spending the day with Alice.
Thankful for an amazing husband who works so hard for us.
Thankful these guys are able to do the work in 4 days instead of 3 weeks,
which was another estimate I received.
Thankful this is almost over. :)

And, they're back.
Goodbye, silence.
