Monsters University

Ben's company had a family movie night last week.

We debated whether or not to take Alice.
(We're pretty particular about what we let her watch.)

After reading a few reviews,
and watching trailers with Alice,
we finally decided to take her.
Figured we could leave at anytime.

She LOVED it!
Sat through the entire movie!
We were shocked.
It was probably the Reese's Pieces and the Sprite. :)
Regardless, it was a fun night for us all!

Making their best monster faces.

Also noteworthy:
She hasn't mentioned the movie even once since then.
Nothing about monsters at all!
We were a little worried about the potential aftermath
of seeing a movie about monsters scaring children.
Nothing.
It was apparently WAY over her head...

Kind of like how my grandmother used to let my sister and I watch Grease as kids.
I later watched it as an adult and was shocked!

Remind me to tell you about my Monsters University parenting fail the next time I see you... Sylvie's fine, I think, but I have PTSD about it.

Uh yeah. Grease - not kid friendly. Neither was half the stuff we watched. Night Court, Goonies, Back to the Future...
