This time last year, I was at a women's retreat at church for the morning.
Little did I know, just up the street, a little baby girl was born;
a little baby who would forever change our family.
This weekend, we celebrated her life.
She is a miracle.
Her mama had an out, but she chose life for her daughter.
For that, I am forever thankful to her.
She was born with many, many strikes against her, and yet she thrives.
She is developmentally right where she needs to be.
We believe God healed her little body.
I often pray Jeremiah 29:11 over her and her biological mama:
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord.
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you a hope and a future."
Praying for her future.
Resting in knowing He loves her more than we ever could.
Here are a few pictures from her party yesterday:
There aren't many I can easily post since she's in them.
(Thank you, Steve, for taking photos!!)
